I’m about to start work on a new photo book project and I need your input.
The title is ‘I Knew a Girl Once’ – and it’s all about exactly that.
I’m collecting stories that begin with the line: “I knew a girl once.” One paragraph later, and the story will have been told. The theme of each anecdote can be quirky, beautiful, sexual, absurd, hilarious, heartbreaking, endearing… You get the picture.
The most interesting stories will be interpreted into images.
It will be a scrapbook reminder of the power of memory; how someone we have met fleetingly or known forever can leave its mark on us.
